Last week, something incredible happened: I went to NYFW!
Fashion has been my dream since I was a little girl. Always torn between a career in science or fashion, blogging finally gave me the means to be a Chemist by day, while sharing my passion for fashion by night. My entire day is spent doing the things I love and that is exactly where I want to be in life. Thanks to the support from my sweet sister, my loving boyfriend, and all of my readers, I was able to make NYFW a reality this year.
Lets get to the important points: #streetstyle and upcoming Spring/Summer trends and brands.
One of the major trends I noticed while strutting down Washington St. during NYFW were the wide leg culottes. You couldn’t pass a group without seeing these snazzy pants, and I was glad to have snagged some myself before heading to New York! My wallet-friendly pair is from Forever 21. For $30, you can blend in with the celebrities and models/bloggers. Paired with a button-down longline shirt, I pulled together one of my favorite NYFW looks. As soon as I hit the streets, I was striking poses for the paparazzi.
Another one of my #OOTDs from Fashion Week was my very Fall-inspired leaf skinnies, paired with a burgundy leather jacket. You can shop all my looks from NYFW with the links below!
Attending NYFW this year has only strengthened my passion for the fashion world. NYFW was an overload of photographers, bloggers, models, celebrities, paparazzi, and was nothing short of overwhelming. There was chaos all over and I enjoyed every minute of it!
I’m sharing some of my favorite looks from the Herve Leger SS2016 show. I saw lots of geometric cuts and incredible embroidery on the runway! Honestly, I left the show wanting to redo my entire wardrobe for Spring! I am also sharing some of my #streetstyle fashion while in New York!
