Today’s blog post is about a brand that I have admired for as long as I can remember, Ann Taylor.
Growing up, I would see my grandmother, my mom, and my aunts wearing pieces from Ann Taylor and I would think wow, what an elegant brand. It wasn’t until I was in my mid-twenties that I truly started appreciating and incorporating their pieces into my wardrobe. Boy let me tell you that I am glad that I did. Ann Taylor represents all women. The brand carries items that are trendy enough for the new generation yet elegant at the same time. Not only are their pieces chic and sophisticated, but they are versatile and long-lasting. Another great thing about Ann Taylor is that they carry the most broad range of sizes, which is pretty amazing. My mom is really short and can almost never find pants her size, but Ann Taylor carries almost all styles in petite sizes too.

Next I have styled a leopard print top. The high turtleneck is great for winter and it has a neck tie which can be tied in the front or the back. Leopard print is the new black and if you don’t own any leopard print clothing, you will want this top! It’s a great way to incorporate animal print without being too loud.
Lastly, a dark plum colored jumpsuit that has a tie at the waist. I love that detail because some jumpsuits can fall flat and don’t really flatter the body. The nice thing about jumpsuits is that they always make you appear taller than you really are, and I’ll take that any day. The other great thing about jumpsuits is that its an entire outfit in one. Call me lazy, but sometimes I don’t want to think about what matches what and putting on a jumpsuit is the easiest solution to my laziness, haha.
