Now that Spring has finally worked its way around to us, it was time for a change and I wanted something fresh to match the warmer weather. I already had lighter ends and wanted them to be even lighter this time around. The technique I gravitate towards is called balayage. What I love about balayage is that it allows for a natural flow of color, so even when your hair grows out it doesn’t affect the appearance (super low maintenance!)
There is no one I trust with my color and style more than George the Salon. They greeted me with coffee and were very welcoming. The entire experience was just amazing and the staff is so kind, courteous and professional.
My colorist is Natalie, who specializes in ombre/balayage. We decided on a lighter balayage for my hair, more towards the blonder, sandy shades. I specified that I wanted to stay away from orange/ brassy tones and so she used a very cool toner on my hair to do just that. She added a few lighter strands to frame my face and it gives the perfect sun-kissed glow!
Lauren styled my hair into loose, beachy waves by first blow drying my hair then using a curling iron. Both the girls are just the sweetest and my hair looks FABULOUS and I can’t stop touching it! If you’re thinking about trying something different or adding some touch-ups, trust me and leave it to George the Salon. You’ll be in good hands!
