Happy Saturday, everyone!<\/p>\n

Last September Malick and I decided to make the switch and move from the city to the suburbs! Although it was a big transition, moving to Buckingham Place Apartments<\/a><\/span> made it easy to say goodbye to the city. One of the reasons we moved here was because of all the amazing\u00a0amenities the building has to offer. Surprisingly, Buckingham Place<\/a><\/span> offers far more than any other luxury apartment building<\/a> we looked at. Buckingham Place apartments<\/a><\/span> has three large gathering spaces that can be rented out\u00a0for private parties; the Demonstration Kitchen, the Sports Pub, and the Movie Theater. We rented out the common space and the Demo Kitchen for Thanksgiving last year, and the entire family had the most amazing time. The kitchen is humongous and has multiple stove tops and ovens to keep the food warm, and the counter space allowed us to serve over 30 people with ease. The Sports Pub is an expanded seating area with 6 counter top chairs, as well as 2 couches and 2 high boys. The best part about the game room is the shuffle board, pool\u00a0table, and a foose ball table of course. Whenever we have company over, we always end up spending time here and it never disappoints. The last major space that can be rented is the movie theater located on the second floor. It has plenty of couch space, a massive flat screen TV, and best of all black out curtains to set the mood of an actual theater. They\u00a0even hosted a RomCom movie night in the theater in the month of February!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Bringing me to my next point, Buckingham Place<\/a><\/span> does a great job hosting unique and fun events for\u00a0their residents; it’s a great way to meet people within the\u00a0building and hangout in the multiple common areas. They hosted a brunch at the beginning of Spring and another party for Cinco De Mayo, where they served Mexican food and margaritas!\u00a0They are in the works of planning a summer soiree\/ pool party, which I\u00a0am obviously looking forward to!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

A great amenity is the secure package room with automatic email notification every time a package gets delivered. With all the packages I receive on the daily, we\u00a0were looking for a secure package system in a building<\/a>. This is so crucial because in our previous apartment building we\u00a0experienced a very different experience.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>
\nMalick has the luxury of working from home some days and he makes good use of the “Think Tank” which has two private work stations, an office like copier\/printer, and 10-person conference room with sound proof walls. His favorite amenity of all is, none other than the gym! I call it his\u00a0second home because when he is not home, I know to find him at the gym. He even manages to do two-a-days at the gym! Well why not when the gym is steps away\u00a0from your apartment, right? Then you have no excuse! The equipment is all brand new and includes multiple treadmills, a stair master, free weights, and a cable pulley machine. The weights also range in size\u00a0to accommodate those looking to tone with light weights, to someone like\u00a0Malick who is looking to get a heavier lift in. My favorite part of the gym is the spin room adjacent to the gym; it has 3 stationary bikes and a Peloton. How cool is that? You can take a virtual class at your pace any time of day!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Enough about the indoor amenities, because now that the weather is starting to warm up we will start to make good use of the outdoor cabanas, hot tub, play pool, and grills. Yes, that is right \u2013 cabanas, hot tub, play pool, and grills!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>
\nWe love the layout of the building<\/a>, especially the main floor\u00a0because its open concept. The main lobby area connects all the common spaces, and they just put in an industrial coffee machine that serves lattes, cappuccinos, coffee, hot chocolate, etc. It is safe to say that I am addicted to the new fancy coffee machine in\u00a0the building<\/a> and I never thought I would be abandoning my Nespresso\u00a0machine! Haha<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Other great\u00a0amenities about the building<\/a> include a garbage valet, car wash in the enclosed garage, and a pet spa for our furry friends!<\/p>\n

Overall, we are very pleased with Buckingham Place Apartments<\/a><\/span> and VERY glad that we moved in! Can’t wait to share more exciting details about our new home with you all!<\/p>\n
