If you are looking for a centrally located hotel walking distance from all of the attractions, then look no further. <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/37pTdaI\">Sofitel Chicago<\/a><\/span> is located on Magnificent Mile and is steps away from the shopping on Michigan Ave., 360 Chicago at the John Hancock building, and only 9 minutes from the Christkindlmarket! There is so much to do around the area. Malick and I did a staycation at the <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/37pTdaI\">Sofitel Chicago<\/a><\/span> a few weeks ago and it was so relaxing. Our schedules have been jam packed this past month and a relaxing staycation was just what we needed. We stayed in our robes and ordered room service. I even took a bath and I haven&#8217;t been able to wind down and take a bath in MONTHS! Did I mention they use all Hermes bath products?! The food was so delicious. They have the chicest bar, called Le Bar, on the first floor with great food and drinks! If you order breakfast, be sure to get the peanut butter, banana French toast&#8230; you&#8217;re welcome!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/farhfromordinary.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/IMG_3528.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3407\" src=\"https:\/\/farhfromordinary.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/IMG_3528.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"1920\" srcset=\"https:\/\/farhfromordinary.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/IMG_3528.jpg 1280w, https:\/\/farhfromordinary.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/IMG_3528-800x1200.jpg 800w, https:\/\/farhfromordinary.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/IMG_3528-300x450.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It was the first time I have been involved in an interior design project and I must say it was so much fun. I loved working with the <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/37pTdaI\">Sofitel Chicago<\/a><\/span> team! Every year, each <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/37pTdaI\">Sofitel<\/a><\/span> around the world participates in &#8220;<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/37pTdaI\">Art de Noel<\/a><\/span>&#8221; which is an initiative designed to elevate the holiday d\u00e9cor at each hotel. This year&#8217;s theme was Christmas Couture. My first meeting with the team unveiled the initial ideas behind the d\u00e9cor and what sort of prints and colors would be incorporated into the d\u00e9cor. The colors were shades of dusty pink and navy blues with gold and silver accents, and prints were leopard and plaid.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/farhfromordinary.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/IMG_4385.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3408\" src=\"https:\/\/farhfromordinary.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/IMG_4385.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"1920\" srcset=\"https:\/\/farhfromordinary.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/IMG_4385.jpg 1280w, https:\/\/farhfromordinary.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/IMG_4385-800x1200.jpg 800w, https:\/\/farhfromordinary.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/IMG_4385-300x450.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The team and I decided to decorate the hotel in a very elegant way, geared around the idea of a Dior holiday window. The mannequins that were set up around the hotel (both inside and outside) were so chic, with a touch of sparkle, which really made the theme really come to life. Right when you enter the hotel, there are ten-foot nutcrackers in white and pink tones to compliment the d\u00e9cor. These are definite eye-catchers. Smaller nutcrackers accompanied these around the inside of the hotel along with the mannequins.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/farhfromordinary.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/9EE4A8DC-90A7-414C-821D-5AF338DCAE34.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3409\" src=\"https:\/\/farhfromordinary.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/9EE4A8DC-90A7-414C-821D-5AF338DCAE34.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"828\" height=\"1472\" srcset=\"https:\/\/farhfromordinary.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/9EE4A8DC-90A7-414C-821D-5AF338DCAE34.jpg 828w, https:\/\/farhfromordinary.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/9EE4A8DC-90A7-414C-821D-5AF338DCAE34-800x1422.jpg 800w, https:\/\/farhfromordinary.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/9EE4A8DC-90A7-414C-821D-5AF338DCAE34-300x533.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 828px) 100vw, 828px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>There were giant trees on both sides of the hotel which definitely can&#8217;t go missed. They are wrapped with a giant pink boa and instead of a star on top of the tree, a mannequin was placed on top for something very different! The rest of the d\u00e9cor were beautiful white tree branches and candles to really give the lobby a whimsical appearance.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/farhfromordinary.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/IMG_4289.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3410\" src=\"https:\/\/farhfromordinary.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/IMG_4289.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2048\" height=\"2731\" srcset=\"https:\/\/farhfromordinary.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/IMG_4289.jpg 2048w, https:\/\/farhfromordinary.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/IMG_4289-800x1067.jpg 800w, https:\/\/farhfromordinary.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/IMG_4289-300x400.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 2048px) 100vw, 2048px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The main attraction of the d\u00e9cor, was a beautiful mural painting by street artist, <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/rawooh\/\">@Rawooh<\/a><\/span>. The painting is of a woman with long luxurious hair in leopard print! The mural in to the right when you walk into the hotel and honestly is such a gorgeous piece that you are bound to take a photo of it or with it. I know with the colder temps, people are always looking for indoor photo opps! I am so honored to have been a part of this venture with the <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/37pTdaI\">Sofitel Chicago<\/a><\/span> team. The <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/37pTdaI\">#ArtdeNoel<\/a><\/span> campaign is also a competition between all Sofitel hotels worldwide, and the hotel with the best d\u00e9cor wins! I truly hope <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/37pTdaI\">Sofitel Chicago<\/a><\/span> wins this year because this was such a fun experience and the holiday d\u00e9cor at the <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/37pTdaI\">Sofitel Chicago<\/a><\/span> turned out spectacular!
