We&#8217;ve never been ones to stray away from adventure and Malick and I really wanted to do something fun for the family before Kayden started Kindergarten, so a trip to Italy was just the thing. It began with a night flight into Rome. I was a little nervous about how the kids would handle such a long journey, but they completely surprised me. Between the in-flight entertainment, the little activities I had packed, and the fact that our plane was practically empty (we each had our own row to stretch out and sleep!), it was actually a really comfortable flight. Driving through those rolling hills instantly felt like stepping into a postcard.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Our Stay at <a href=\"https:\/\/rstyle.me\/+xef0UHl199GGvKbRTfzY8A\">Precise Tale Poggio Alla Sala<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We checked into <a href=\"https:\/\/rstyle.me\/+xef0UHl199GGvKbRTfzY8A\">Precise Tale Poggio Alla Sala<\/a>, and I instantly knew this <a href=\"https:\/\/rstyle.me\/+xef0UHl199GGvKbRTfzY8A\">hotel<\/a> would be special. It was everything you\u2019d dream of in a Tuscan escape. Peaceful, romantic, and surrounded by breathtaking views, yet also completely welcoming for families.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/rstyle.me\/+xef0UHl199GGvKbRTfzY8A\">property<\/a> has multiple pools, a kids club, a full spa, and breakfast included each morning. The food was incredible, the service was warm, and the environment felt both luxurious and kid-friendly. While adults usually come for the vineyards, what made this experience so unique is how thoughtful they were in creating an environment where children could also feel included. The kids loved exploring the grounds and learning about the process in a way that was simple and fun for them. We wandered its cobblestone streets, admired the architecture, and of course stopped for gelato and a leisurely lunch in the town square.<\/p>\n<p>Later that afternoon, we surprised the kids with a visit to a local agriturismo (farm). This turned out to be one of their favorite experiences of the trip! We fed animals like ducks, chickens, donkeys, and horses, and even picked fruit called susine, small plums that are sweet and refreshing. Talk about organic! The kids explored the farm and they even served us fresh apple fritter bread and wine. The <a href=\"https:\/\/rstyle.me\/+xef0UHl199GGvKbRTfzY8A\">hotel<\/a> was able to set this entire experience up for us which was amazing!<\/p>\n<p>There was an option for horseback riding, which we decided to skip since our kids are still young, but I\u2019d highly recommend it for families with older children. The kids even made a little friend, Gigo, the farm cat. We ended the day with a sunset swim back at the <a href=\"https:\/\/rstyle.me\/+xef0UHl199GGvKbRTfzY8A\">hotel<\/a>, looking out over the Tuscan hills, one of those moments you just want to freeze in visited Siena, and it was absolutely breathtaking. The city is rich with history, yet so lively and beautiful. We spent the day exploring the piazzas, enjoying the views, and soaking in the charm of the winding streets. And yes, there was more gelato! Siena was by far my favorite little Tuscan town, it was stroller friendly and had the most breathtaking views! There is a famous spot for pictures called, Val d&#8217;Orcia where you can see rows of Cypress trees and its the ultimate Tuscan view. You will pass it on your way into the town of Siena and also when you leave. Here<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>A Romantic Evening (Thanks to the Kids Club)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For our last night in Tuscany, we took advantage of the hotel\u2019s kids club, which quickly became a favorite for the kids. They had such a great time playing that they didn\u2019t want to leave when we came back for them! This gave Malick and I a rare chance to enjoy a romantic dinner overlooking the hills and enjoy each others company.<\/p>\n<p>It was the perfect ending to our time in Tuscany. When we picked the kids up, they didn&#8217;t want to leave. The staff was so friendly and inviting! The next morning we packed up to head on our next adventure, Cinque Terre!
