This past Sunday, the whole family including my nieces and nephew took a trip to Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg, IL to see none other than SANTA! I can’t remember the last time all the siblings got together to take a cute holiday photo, and I’m so glad we did. These are the memories we will look back on when we are older and reminisce on all of the fun times.
When we first approached Santa in his very festive setting, Gabriel walked right up to him and gave him a high five followed by a fist pump! He was so happy to see him, while my nieces (Hannah and Reyah) had a much different reaction haha. Gabriel asked Santa for a guitar, more hot wheels cars and a gift for Hannah and Reyah! How cute is that? After we took our picture perfect Holiday Postcard family photo, we walked into Santa’s winter wonderland which was a snow-globe full of fake snow! It was so pretty and so much fun to see the kids interacting! As soon as we were done, we exited the line and got a chance to pick out our favorite photo! It was all super easy and the staff was so helpful. The whole experience was not just great for the kids but for the adults too! Whether we like to admit it or not we are still kids at heart.
After leaving Santa, we made a quick pitstop at Starbucks to refuel all the adults with come caffeine before we checked out some kid-friendly stores. First stop was H&M! The nice thing about stores like H&M, Zara, Gap, Uniqlo, and Nordstrom is that they are great places to shop for both children and adults. Gabriel got a whole new wardrobe while Hannah and Reyah got some matching winter coats. We then took Gabriel to the Lego store where he went a bit crazy and basically didn’t want to leave.
We couldn’t end the epic day without having dinner, so we took the whole family to Red Robin. Another thing I love about Woodfield Mall is that the choices for shopping and dining are endless. After we were all full off of burgers and shakes, we decided to call it a night. What a great day spent with the family, thanks to Woodfield Mall!
Happy Holidays from my family to yours!
